Our CEO, Johnte’ Archer was featured in Forbes and Fortune
For most, an introduction to the world of commercial insurance is met with intimidation. For Johnte’ Archer, a law school graduate who was working as a clerk for a child advocacy group in 2009, it was enough to spark a new business venture. “The insurance business model immediately blew me away,” recalls Archer, founder and CEO of J. Archer Insurance Group. “I loved how I could use my legal background to educate and simplify the insurance process for clients.” Now a global broker of insurance, risk management, employee benefits, and consulting services, Archer’s multimillion dollar firm has found success by fostering long-term relationships and providing clients with innovative solutions. A highly sought after certified Minority- and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise, J. Archer Insurance Group serves a portfolio of commercial clients, high net worth individuals, nonprofits, and public entities around the world.

In June 2020, as a response to the rising racial injustice and systemic racism, Netflix chief marketing officer Bozoma Saint John, author/podcast host Luvvie Ajayi Jones, author/Together Rising founder Glennon Doyle, and alice + olivia founder Stacey Bendet conceived the initiative #sharethemicnow — a day where white women turned their social media platforms over to Black women — to magnify Black women and the important work that they’re doing in order to catalyze the change that will only come when we truly hear each other’s voices.
The founders encourage women to keep the conversation going with #KeepSharingtheMic. And so we are with #ShareTheMicAndTheMoneyNow.
